Everlasting love for them.
It is very easy in the rush of living to overlook people who are close to us. I do it, at times, I admit. Every now and then I will think how come I have not heard from them but in fact, I am the one that forget to phone them or stay in touch. Time simply slips so fast that few weeks turns into months and years are added before we even knew it.
I read this from a book which kind off implies how I behave at times:
“When the phone ring, and it is your mother or grandmother or whoever, but you are really busy doing something, don’t keep them waiting on the phone making noises while you simultaneously finish searching the web or writing a letter. Put everything down and give full attention. One day they might not be there, and you’d desperately wish someone listened. But it’s too late. So make time for the people who matter – today.”
Alright, some ecstasy occasion I had been through with them.
Helpless babies to mature teens they brought us up, my parents, the ones who are there for me in my times of difficulties.
