6/2, Reunion Dinner.
Get “rid the old and welcome the new”
It is a tradition to have a reunion dinner on this day, it has always been my family with my aunt since way long I could remember.
It is believed that it is good to have leftovers from the dinner, as they will bring surplus wealth to the family and yes of course we did! It was definitely filling, but the serving was so fast and we actually ordered dishes for 10 people when there were only 6 of us. I don’t remember my mouth resting.
The tossing of the raw fish salad was yummy. So we all toss the colourful salad and make wishes for continued wealth and prosperity. Apparently, everyone were wishing for some unrealistic dreams la! Those high end wishes, haha. Ya ya hardwork, everything is possible. SO we toss the salad very high for the higher the salad is tossed in the air, the more good fortune can be expected.
I was told by my dad that in the old days, hongbaos are sometimes placed under the pillow. This was thought to prevent the children from being kidnapped or harmed by thieves. HAHA, RANSOM!

My DIY nails, how are they?
I am being an economical person this year.
Okay but I am not looking forward for tomorrow, it has been such a routine every year…
