Get up

Ang Bao UP UP UP.
The first two red packets were given by my parents - to children as a form of blessing.
An auspicious day for family portraits too, we snap, I am going to develope them and frame it up. Down memory lane and I can see how everyone of us aged. OH NO.
My parents practiced this tradition Red Packet Ceremony where we lined up according to our age, so brother, me and younger brother, haha like going for recess. We shake hands, exchange wishes etc.
Next to my maternal side where I ate the mutton curry, the pot of mushrooms + black fungus + sourish gravy + cabbage that taste wooohooo, the soup, the duck and I was happy as a saying goes a “hungry man is an angry man”.
Also, exchanging of mandarin oranges for well-wishes for the new year. Two oranges are presented each time. Daddy to grandma etc.
Stayed for 2 hours odd, proceeded to the paternal side where I had a surge in my red packets earning, haha, you material fellow, yes yes whatever, I need cash to do a lot of my wishes this year. After hours and hours like 5 hours, finally we drive back to maternal side where I took a nap and instantaneously started eating all the CNY goodies when I got up, one always turn monstrously hungry after a nap. The Lapis was so nice, it was in a tube form, how innovative, like you can use it to whack people before eating. I also fancy the green pea flour flower like cookie, it melts when in contact with water and it had bits of green peas in it that makes me feel like… something good that’s it. Dinner, playing with cousins, laming with aunties and gamble and head for supper and home. Tomorrow is another day, bb.
Pictures are entertaining, here.
